01.14.17Tim's First Album On the Sunny Side is released!
This is my very first solo album and I spent over two years creating this incredible project. From piano trio to a 12-piece orchestra, On the Sunny Side is an exploration of jazz standards arranged and interpreted in new and original ways featuring Grammy Award Winners Brian Lynch (trumpet) and Ed Calle (tenor saxophone). Latin Jazz fans will enjoy the Latin rhythms found in the songs like Angel Eyes, Capim, and Moanin\' to name a few.
07.28.16Presenting at the National American Choral Directors Association Convention
I'm thrilled to announce that the panel of vocal jazz educators I assembled including Greg Jasperse (Western Michigan University), Kate Reid (University of Miami) and I will be presenting an interest session at the national ACDA convention titled Collegiate Vocal Jazz: Learning from our Legacy on March 9, 2017 in Minneapolis, MN. The session will discuss the current and future trends of collegiate vocal jazz education as well as the legacy of the late vocal jazz educator Steve Zegree.
05.02.16Tim appointed to Westminster College of the Arts at Rider University
Big News everyone!
I was just appointed as the newest visiting assistant professor of popular music studies at Westminster College of the Arts at Rider University starting Fall 2016.
I will be helping the university develop three brand new tracks in the popular music studies program: performance, song writing, and music production.

Breaking news! Tim has been given the official position as Assistant Professor and director of the contemporary vocal program at Miami Dade College Kendall campus!
After years of planning, recruiting, and building the foundation of the vocal jazz/contemporary program at MDC, the administration decided it was time to fully support his efforts and has named him the director of the program.

On Sunday, December 5th at 7:30 PM at the Magnificat High School Performing Arts Center (Rocky River, OH), the West Shore Chorale (www.westshorechorale.org), under the direction of John Drotleff, premiered a new choral composition I wrote for the group titled From Heaven On High.
